Shore and charging connection

It is important to be able to supply electricity to the submarine via outside sources (from land or from a tender) at any time, easily and at short notice, without connection cables blocking accesses to the submarine. The tailor-made solution to this problem is provided by the shore and charging connection developed by GABLER Maschinenbau GmbH in close cooperation with customers and shipyards. The shore connection supplies the submarine with the necessary power for various internal on-board consumers.
The charging connection is designed to provide for fast charging of the submarine’s batteries and must allow for the connection to be cut immediately without the high charging voltage causing damage to the equipment. Thanks to the wide scope of experience of GABLER Maschinenbau GmbH a effective solution was found that caters for troublefree operation and care of our equipment anywhere in the world. |
