Hoistable masts for submarines
|
So far, GABLER has built hoistable masts in various configurations for more than 130 submarines, a clear indication of their reliable design. They are fully able to meet the technical and tactical demands of our naval customers and to comply with the latest developments in technology.
Fully certified to DIN ISO 9001:2000 standards, GABLER has an extremely successful quality management system in place to insure that only fully tested and approved hoistable masts leave the premises, ready for “turn-key” integration in the submarine.
One of our aims is to concentrate as many antenna functions as possible on a minimum number of hoistable masts. The functions of the hoistable masts and their status are controlled from inside the submarine without restricting freedom of movement in the CIC. The system guarantees secure transmission of the signal from the antenna or sensor into the submarine.
Generally speaking, GABLER hoistable masts can be built as telescoping or penetrating masts, with column guidance or as trunk systems with rectangular or cylindrical cross-section.
