The frequency of change of the requirements made on the navies and thus also on the home and foreign markets for naval technology is becoming faster every day.

At GABLER Maschinenbau we have dedicated our aims and objectives to meeting the needs of high-quality specialist technology, and we have therefore invested in the future with innovative development programmes. The answer is found in the new challenges posed by a constantly changing market:

Developmental objectives

• The asymmetrical threat presents additional mission and equipment needs with new sensors and effectors to increase the submarine’s self-defence abilities and to provide support for the staff and equipment needs of Special Forces operations.
• Mission-orientated adaptability with exchangeable payload equipment for rapid installation on hoistable masts
• Use of the spin-in effect by adapting the results of developmental work in parallel fields for the army or civilian use
• Development objectives with respect to equipment are invariably suitable for refit to existing systems and for use in civilian marine projects.
